How to write a Resume!

If you write your CV, your purpose should be that a recruiter can very quickly scan it and see if you qualify for the vacancy. You don’t want them having to read too much because if they have to read too much lot, they will disregard your resume.

Write a Summary

When you write your CV, you want to inform the reader about what you would like to achieve, to show how good you are and about all your achievements. Write a summary at the beginning of your CV, present the incredible super candidate you are.

Keep it short and sweet.

Advice for writers. “Kill your darlings” suggests to delete all the irrelevant prose. So try to keep it as short as possible. Don’t have your CV exceed two pages.

Use a clear structure

Write per Company where you work(ed) the following:

  • Company name: the Name of the Company
  • Business Field: FMCG (or Banking, or Agriculture…)
  • From to present: 2015 till now
  • Job Title: Area Sales Manager
  • Activities: HHS, personal care Dove, West Romania, Hypermarkets, managing team of 45 sales reps, 48 million of annual sales.
  • Language skills: native, fluent, intermediate
  • Training: Master of Sales training 2019,
  • Skills: Saying YES to clients, Sales, Marketing
  • Salary wanted
  • Hobbies

If you write your CV in keywords and structure each segment (Skill: …, Name: …, Address: …, Company: … etc.), a parser will do an excellent job for the recruiter and also for you!
